JOB OVERVIEW
Coastal Moms IV Hydration & Wellness (“Coastal Moms Wellness”) is a nurse-owned mobile IV hydration company seeking compassionate, professional Registered Nurses to provide safe, high-quality IV hydration and wellness services in home and mobile settings throughout Maryland and Delaware.
This role is ideal for experienced nurses who value flexibility, autonomy, patient education, and community-centered care. Nurses will work collaboratively with the Medical Director and company leadership to deliver evidence-informed hydration and wellness services while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

ROLE STRUCTURE
This position is structured as an independent and patient-focused nursing role responsible for performing mobile IV hydration services under Medical Director-approved standing orders and protocols.
Registered Nurses will work independently in community and home-based settings while maintaining communication with company leadership and the Medical Director as needed for clinical guidance and support.
This role is designed to offer flexibility while maintaining high standards of clinical professionalism, documentation, and patient care.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or Delaware
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred
- Strong IV insertion and infusion therapy skills
- Experience in emergency medicine, critical care, outpatient infusion, med-surg, or similar clinical settings preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Comfortable working independently in mobile/community settings
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Professional, dependable, and safety-oriented
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Care & IV Therapy
- Administer IV hydration and wellness treatments in accordance with approved standing orders and protocols
- Perform patient assessments prior to initiating therapy
- Obtain and document vital signs before, during, and after treatment
- Initiate peripheral IV access and safely administer ordered fluids, vitamins, and medications
- Monitor patients throughout infusion for adverse reactions or complications
- Discontinue treatment and escalate concerns appropriately when indicated
Patient Education & Professionalism
- Educate patients regarding hydration therapy, expected effects, and potential risks
- Reinforce that services are supportive wellness therapies and not replacements for medical care
- Maintain a calm, professional, and compassionate patient experience
- Represent Coastal Moms Wellness in a professional and community-focused manner
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete accurate and timely documentation for every encounter
- Ensure all consent forms and intake documents are completed prior to treatment
- Maintain compliance with company policies, nursing standards, HIPAA regulations, and state scope-of-practice laws
- Follow all infection prevention, medication safety, and sharps disposal procedures
Communication & Clinical Escalation
- Communicate promptly with company leadership regarding incidents, supply needs, scheduling concerns, or patient issues
- Contact the Medical Director for clinical questions, adverse events, or situations outside standing orders
- Activate emergency medical services (EMS) when clinically indicated

- No prescribing responsibilities
- No requirement to market or recruit patients
- No requirement to manage staffing or business operations
SCHEDULE & FLEXIBILITY
- Flexible scheduling based on nurse availability and patient demand
- Primarily appointment-based mobile visits
- Opportunity for daytime, evening, and weekend availability
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to transport supplies and equipment
- Ability to stand, walk, and drive between appointments
- Ability to perform IV insertion and patient monitoring in home and mobile environments
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
Compensation structure to be discussed individually and may include:
- Per-visit compensation
- Hourly compensation
- Mileage reimbursement
- Incentive opportunities
TERM OF AGREEMENT
This position will begin with an introductory onboarding and training period to ensure competency with company protocols, documentation standards, and workflow expectations.
Ongoing participation and scheduling will be based on business needs, performance, professionalism, and mutual agreement.
